1. Do not leave breakfast

According to the Mayo Clinic, skipping breakfast cause the body to store fatter and makes people more likely to overeat in the middle of the day because they are hungry. Get used to storing less fat in breakfast and give yourself the energy to become more active throughout the day.

2. Reduce portion size and eat slowly

If you still want to enjoy your favourite foods, subtract the portions and eat slowly at each meal. Chewing food slowly will give your stomach time to indicate satiety to the brain. This will help reduce overall calorie intake, no matter what kind of food you eat.

3. Make your food

According to the BBC, processed and fast food have much higher fat content, sugar and sodium (salt) than non-processed foods. Try making your food to lower sugar, fat, and salt. By slowly making your food, you start reducing fat, sugar and salt.

4. Develop an active lifestyle

You do not have to spend hours in the gym and the treadmill for exercise. Try walking fast when you go to the mall to shop. Energetic play with a pet dog to the beach or go play can also burn calories. Find a club with music that you like and go dancing. Choose activities you want that will make you unknowingly burn calories.
